A few days after Paris Hilton “joked” about swapping boyfriend Benji Madden for royal hottie Prince William, rumors swirled that BFF star was snuggling up to her on-again, off-again beau Stavros Niarchos again. So we can’t say we were TOTALLY shocked to learn that Paris and Benji officially called it quits on Wednesday. Slightly shocking, however, Paris’ subsequent claim that the breakup was mutual (i.e. 100% not cheating-related) and that she and Benji are gonna be friendsies for life…and maybe more.
“[Benji] is an incredible person, and we will always be really close,” Paris told Ryan Seacrest (as reported by E! Online). “We will see what happens in the future. I am still in love with him.”

Over the past two seasons of Shot at Love, we’ve seen dozens of suitors (male and female) vye for Tila Tequila’s affection by getting tattooed, walking on broken glass (well, sort of) and chugging down hot dog smoothies. We’ve seen Tila hop in the hottub with Jersey Jay’s ‘rents, perform unspeakable acts on a pickle and manhandle Kristy’s younger bro. And we’ve even seen Tila get shot DOWN (on her own show!) by the one-time object of her affection.
And then, just when we thought we were 100% shock-proof, we sat down and watched the trailer for this season’s Double Shot at Love (premiering Tuesday December 9th at 10 PM ET/PT). And we have three words for you: HELL FRICKIN’ YEAH. A set of identical bisexual (and did we mention gorgeous?) twins determined to find their dream guys/girls without scratching each other’s eyes out? Yes, please!
So say hello to Rikki and Vikki Ikki (You only WISH we were kidding) and get psyched for the craziest season yet. Looks like the third time IS a charm …
Fiddy’s new reality show, 50 Cent: The Money and the Power, airs Thursdays at 10pm, but you don’t have to wait ’til then to check out the raw footage. Every day, I’ll be sifting through the ‘50 Cent Dailies‘ to make sure you’re getting your fill of the rapper-turned-mogul. (Tough job, I know, but somebody’s gotta do it!)
With Precious gone, we figured that maybe, just maybe, we’d be able to enjoy a day or so without a crazy, nonsensical screaming match. Unfortunately, we figured wrong. Watch Cornbreadd and DaJuan go from throwing insults to (nearly) throwing punches in this day-old daily and then give their roomies — and, um, the giant security dudes — props for preventing a full-scale smackdown. (Update: Precious is still there! That TOTALLY explains it!!)

• Girls Next Door star Holly Madison gives us icky mental pictures (and ickier real-life pictures) of her swapping spit with her new Albino boyfriend, Criss Angel. (Scandalist)
• Steve Martin has just been announced as 30 Rock’s latest desperate ploy for ratings celeb guest star. Hooray! (E! Online)
• Sarah Palin pardons one lucky Wasilla turkey while the bird’s not-so-lucky brethren meet an untimely death at the slaughterhouse. Also, peep that (newly purchased?) Burberry scarf! (BuzzFeed)
• Kathie Lee Gifford is the best/worst Today Show host ever! (Defamer)
• Ashley Dupre’s belated heart-to-heart with Diane Sawyer makes us nostalgic for the days when “Client 9″ jokes were all the rage. (Gawker)

Since The Hills is only a half-hour show, we don’t always get to see some of the finer details of the characters’ lives. For instance, Spencer and Heidi can actually be quite considerate of each other (hard to believe, we know!), Lo Bosworth isn’t always perfecting her wide-eyed stare and seemingly single gal Lauren Conrad has been quietly dating scruffy-cute actor Kyle Howard.
So after watching Whitney Port leave NYC bar Il Bastardo with well-coiffed rocker Jay last week, we weren’t sure whether he’d be back for a future episode — or relegated to rerun-only status.
Fortch, looks as though he’s been spending some QT with Whit on her new spinoff, The City (peep the trailer again, yo!). And, more importantly, off of it.

This week’s been full of ups and downs. We said hello to (the still-dreamy!!) Carson Daly, goodbye to TRL and watched our fave stars from the past 10 years brave the screaming fans in Times Square one last time to send the once-beloved show out in a blaze of live music glory.
And since the MTV veejays, the fans and the performers (like Beyonce, 50 Cent, Fall Out Boy and yes, the Backstreet Boys) put on such a brave face, we’ve decided to celebrate the last-ever week of TRL by posting these amazing performance clips from Total Finale Live. Check em’ out, plus catch our all-time fave “Top Ten” countdowns after the jump.
Oh, and feel free to dance in your seats (and/or break out the “I LOVE YOU, CARSON!” signs) one last time. It’s what TRL would’ve wanted.
+ After the jump, catch the Top Ten Funniest Videos, and the Top Ten Times Square Moments.

The contestants who’ve been dropped so far from 50 Cent: The Money and The Power haven’t had great things to say about the fairness of the game. Last week Nathan even implied the competition’s a joke.
We wondered how Fiddy would feel if he knew that people were complaining … so we, uh, told him. (Can’t pass up a chance to stir up some trouble!)
And you better believe we had the camera rolling for his response. Check it:

Fiddy’s latest business school flunk, Precious, appeared on a mere three episodes of 50 Cent: The Money and the Power, yet we think saw enough to get her basic gist. From maniacal stares to racial intolerance to the ever-present threat of bodily harm, Precious wasn’t exactly a good example of professionalism, or sanity for that matter. But that doesn’t mean we’re glad to see her go! Who can we rely on now to throw nonsensical fits of rage at whim? Who else on the cast can make us viewers feel like we’re being watched? She sure was a one in a million that Precious.
Sometimes it helps to get closure when a person suddenly leaves your life, but why waste more valuable time writing when a picture can say a thousand words?
In Memoriam: Precious

Team Money lost the first challenge and were forced to make the beds for Team Power … but Precious wasn’t having any of it.

Precious and DaJuan’s first fight. Aww.

At the end of the premiere episode, 50 Cent called Precious “unprofessional” and attempted to scare her into submission. No such luck.
Check out our absolute fave pic of Precious after the jump!

There’ve been a lot of tense moments so far this season on 50 Cent: The Money and the Power. And between watching Precious yell at Nikki (and Nima…and Cornbreadd…and, well, just about everyone) and listening to Jenn and Musso argue like an old (dysfunctional) married couple, we were about thisclose to a full-scale meltdown.
And just when we were about to give up all hope (Can’t they all just get along??) we stumbled across this lighthearted freestyle rap competition between Mehgan and the boys. Check out this uncharacteristic show of group camaraderie (and impromptu rap skillz!) then tune in tonight at 10 p.m. to watch tempers flare again…Ah, back to reality!

Earlier this week, we told you one-time enemies Aubrey O’Day and Diddy were spotted laughing and chatting it up at the Victoria’s Secret show. And now comes word that the former Danity Kane crooner may have her own (Diddy-produced??) spinoff show in the works.
When reporters asked O’Day whether she’d be back on next season’s Making the Band 4, she replied “You never know - maybe I’ll be back on it, maybe I will be on my own show.” And that’s not all. Bloggers at Hollyscoop.com reportedly “pressed for an official confirmation,” to which she replied, “Absolutely.”
Think it’s true? And more importantly, if Aubrey does have her own show, would you guys watch?? Take our poll and let us know whether you’d tune in to watch The Aubrey O’Day Hour.
